The Republic of Kenya and the Republic of Senegal have joined the International Energy Agency (IEA) as Association Countries, following approval by the IEA’s Governing Board last week.
The milestone will not only enable the IEA to advance its engagement with African countries but enables both Senegal and Kenya to strengthen their role in the global energy landscape, participating in global discourse surrounding energy security, access and climate change mitigation.
