Mozambique airlines price reduction delivers maximum occupancy

The first week in which LAM (Linhas Aéreas de Moçambique) ticket prices have seen a 30% reduction has delivered fully booked flights.
According to the flagship airline, flight occupancy charts since July 1 have almost matched the actual seating plan.
For example, a LAM Boeing with capacity for 132 passengers recently carried 127 on the Maputo/Nampula route.
Another of the four examples cited in the LAM note refers to an Embraer 145 on the Maputo/Beira route, which saw 49 of its 50 passenger seats filled.
The 30% reduction in ticket prices presently covers flights to and from Maputo, Beira, Pemba, Tete, Inhambane, Vilankulo and Johannesburg.
